Twenty-third of June Two Thousand Nine~ (23/06/09)

Heyya peeps!!!!!!!!

Have been gone for quite a long time now~ I have been busy with my dissertation; doing outline and annotated bibliography. I was also busy with my 3000-word Comparative Education assignment which I finally managed to get rid of last Friday!
Yeah!!~~~ That was my GREATEST relief at the moment…(I repeat… AT THE MOMENT~). There are lots of other worrying things that will be coming in my way which I obviously do not want to think of as of now! Haish~

In this post I just want to randomly write about my day today, well yesterday actually, because it’s already past midnight~ lol~. Nothing fascinating but I just feel like writing about it as I am feeling extremely bored and I don’t know what should I do right now..(although I still have to finish my dissertation portfolio which I have to submit this Friday). LOL!!~

**********

I woke up at 4am after having a dream that I was late to Steve’s 11am class. So, not wanting to be in the same situation in the real life, I immediately set my alarm clock at 8am…hee~ (I know it sounds kind of silly…lol~).

I did wake up at 8am and managed to get ready by 10.15am….and a few minutes after that our ASDA (a grocery store here) delivery arrived. Poor the delivery guy as he had to carry 12 super big baskets filled with our super duper huge amount of groceries!!! Thnak God for the creator of trolleys! LOL!! In the end, we could barely even see our kitchen floor because it was covered with plastic bags!! The good thing is, Nadhia who had just woken up at that time, took out her phone and snapped the picture of our kitchen. Here it is~

Don't be shocked! This is a normal scene whenever we shop for our groceries~ Hee~

We had to rush stuffing the food in the fridge, especially the frozen food, as we had Steve’s class at 11am. Unfortunately, my dream came true…. We were a few minutes late to Steve’s class. I guess sometimes, some things are just destined to be in a certain way no matter how we try to change it. LOL!!

In class, I was surprisingly focused on the lesson! I was on-task for the whole 2 hours and I even stayed back to finish my homework! How scary is that? Hihihi~~ After class, Fizah, Nadhia and I went to Rendez-vous to for lunch and I tried their special menu of the day, Chicken Korma with Baked Rice. It was good~ Yum Yum~

My lunch.... Chicken Korma with Baked Rice~

After lunch, I went back home and folded my laundry while watching Family Matters, a 90’s US sitcom about a middle class African American family in Chicago. I should say that this is one of my favourite sitcoms when I was in elementary school. I’ve only watched it for 2 days now and I am already on the 2nd season, believe it or not~ Hehehe~~

The cast of Family Matters~

As for now, my eyes are still stuck on the computer screen, watching the sitcom and I really don’t have any idea when to stop! LOL!! I guess I’m going to stay like this until my eyes tell me to.
So, I’m signing off~ So long~~~~~~

They're Back!!!!!!!

Announcing…….. the comeback of a group that definitely confirms me to be on the top of ‘Pedo Noonas List’!!!!! SHINee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay!!!!!!!!~~ OMG!! I’m so effin’ happy and excited that words cannot describe it!!

P/S: To my housemates, if you hear any disturbing noise…don’t worry because that would be me screaming at the top of my lungs while jumping on my bed and rolling on the floor!!! Heeee~~~ (a bit of hyperbole there…LOL!!)

So, yeah.. The boys are back!!! I’ve been waiting like mad for their comeback and the time has finally come!!!! I have been replaying their performance for I-don’t-know-how-many times! They are awesome!! (Well, at least to me… hee~ Don’t care whether others like them or not! LOL!).

So, why on earth would I fall in love with a group of young boys?? Well.. I’ve said it.. because they’re YOUNG!!! Hahaha~~~ (there goes my pedo-ness again..ROTFL!!).. Okay2….let’s get serious..hihi~ I know I’ve said this tonnes of times before but I like them because they’re young but they perform like professionals!! Seriously…

Another thing that drawn me to them is the genre of their music which has some influences from Michael Jackson. I LOVE Michael Jackson! Thanks to my abah, my sisters and I know almost all of his songs and we even played his recorded concerts, music videos and songs until now~

Why am I yapping about Michael Jackson again?? Urrgghh~~~ Okay let’s get back to my precious boys… Hee~ This is their comeback stage on Music Bank with their new song, ‘Juliette’…. Awesome song! It’s actually a remake of Corbin Bleu’s song, ‘Deal With It’. The performance is EPIC!! I wonder how they can move like a dancing machine but still sound almost flawless on a live stage…Hmm~~ They’re just good!! That explains why they immediately got to the top of the chart beating their ‘sunbae’ (seniors), Super Junior (another precious boys of mine…hee~).

So, here’s their performance plus the results at the end and their encore stage.. Enjoy!!~

Hope you guys enjoy these videos… OMG!!! It’s like 3.26pm now and I haven’t drink a single drop or eat a single thing since morning!!! SHINee-overdosed!!! LOL!!~~

Deeper Conversation By Yuna

Is your favourite colour blue?
Do you always tell the truth?
Do you believe in outerspace?
Now I'm learning you

Is your skin as tanned as mine?
Does your hair flow sideways?
Did someone took a portion of your heart?
Now I'm learning you

And if you don't mind
Can you tell me
All your hopes and fears
And Everything that you believe in
Would you make a difference in the world
I'd love for you to take me to a deeper conversation
Only you can make me

I let my guard down for you
And in time you will too

If you don't mind
Can you tell me
All your hopes and fears
And Everything that you believe in
Would you make a difference in the world
I'd love for you to take me to a deeper conversation
Only you can make me

If you don't mind
Can you tell me
All your hopes and fears
And Everything that you believe in
Would you make a difference in the world
I'd love for you to take me to a deeper conversation
Only you can make me

4x
Deeper Conversation
Does your name rhyme with mine...

Happy 21st Birthday Taeyang!!~~ <3 <3 <3

Another birthday post!!! And this time it is the 21st birthday of my dearest Taeyang of Big Bang!!~~ Saengil Chuka Hamnida!!! So, as everyone can already expect, this post is entirely dedicated to my beloved Dong Youngbae a.k.a TAEYANG-shi…. *blush* *giggle* ^^

Young Taeyang~

Taeyang debuted as a child actor and was first involved in music when he acted as a young Sean in Jinusean’s music video, Cheonhwabeonho (Phone Number). Since then, he has become a trainee at YG Entertainment. He debuted in a group called Big Bang (one of my favourite groups ever!!!!) in 2007. He also came out with a solo album, HOT (which went on being so successful!^^). His ability to perform was proven when Alicia Keys chose him to perform as an opening act at her concert in Korea. Taeyang is also fluent in Japanese language and is now in his second year in Daejin University studying Theatre and Film!

OKAY!! Enough of his formal introduction (I felt as if I was writing an academic writing for my assignment..lol~). Undoubtedly, I am definitely in love with this guy~ When he dances, I fall in love with his charisma; when he sings, I fall in love with his sincerity; when he models, I fall in love with his charms; when he’s off-camera, I fall in love with his humbleness and when he smile, I’ll definitely fall to the ground, MELTING~~~ LOL!!~ So, easy to say, I am in love with this guy!!!~

There’s no point of me blabbing on and on about him, you gotta know him to love him. Thus, here are some of my favourite pictures and videos of him that I wanna share with you guys. Enjoy~ (but make sure you don’t fall for him because he is M.I.N.E!!! *rotfl*)

My favourite picture of him....

I just looooove those tensed eyes~ *melts*

Perfect side profile!~

3 letters y'all~~ H.O.T!!!

Can I have those flowers??!~

Awwww~~ Thank you~ *blush*

My phone's wallpaper~ Taeyang!

My laptop has also been 'Taeyang-ified'~ LOL!~

This video shows his journey in becoming an artist….was tear-jerking for me~

Here is a video of him singing ‘Cracks of My Broken Heart' by Eric Benet. This song has been an inspiration for him to keep going on in pursuing his dream.

Moving on to a more upbeat video, a video which makes me fall into daze everytime I watch it. Can’t believe it? Watch for yourself…

Singing and dancing ain’t enough? Here’s another talent of his…BEAT BOXING!!

(credits to dhiiezone on Youtube)

This is one of his HOTTEST performance ever!!! It is during his solo concert. Girls, make sure there’s enough oxygen in your room to prevent you from fainting~ LOL~

His first solo music video, Naman Barabwa featuring the other members of Big Bang!~^^ Me likey!~ This dance created a phenomenon in Korea where many people there learned the choreography.

To turn the table around, here is a video which shows the playful side of him~ Adorable!!! *blushing again* hee~

A short video of him hugging a little kid~ Awwwww… I would kill to be that girl!!~ Grrrr~ I replayed this video hundreds of times because he looks so cute!!~~~ *biting lips* (I think my lips are gonna be swollen after this..lol~)

So, there you go… My ever-so-beloved Taeyang!!! I wish him a very, very Happy Birthday and I hope that happiness, health and success will fall in his way. May he produce more great music after this and continue to brighten up people’s days (*ehem*especially mine*ehem* lol~). So, Taeyang………

HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY!!!
TAEYANG-ah~~~ SARANGHAE~~ <3>

P/S: OMG!! I hereby declare that I've been Taeyang-overdosed!! *ROTFL* Hopefully I’ll dream of him tonight!!

Brunch in Bed~ Hee^^

Just wanna share with you guys what I had for lunch today~ I woke up feeling extra hungry than before but I didn’t bother making any breakfast. So, I went on checking my emails and updating myself with current news until it was 11.30 am when I decided that I just couldn’t stand it anymore. I went down to the kitchen and made 2 chicken burger patties wrapped with eggs, also with some bread, cucumbers, onions, mayonnaise and blue chapel cheese…. DO NOT bother counting the calories~ LOL!!~

Off Hiatus!~~

Helllllllloooooooooo peeps!!!!!!

So good to see you all again! This blog of mine has been on hiatus period for such a looong time (5 months to be exact!). The reason? I just didn’t have the feel to post anything..but now~ I kinda get those feel back, so I will start posting in this blog again. I really apologise to those who have been asking me on when this blog is gonna be updated. Well, I’m back on track. Hope you will continue reading and support this blog. Many thankies to those who have been patiently waiting and leaving comments on my posts. To all silent readers, you guys are also highly appreciated. Love you all!!~

********

Throughout the 5 months of the hiatus period, I have been doing rather a lot. Busy…. BUSY LIFE! I’ve started my 3rd year in university and have been busy attending the never-ending classes. Tonnes of ASS-ignments have also been bugging my life! However, I’ve also been travelling during my holidays.. I was in Scotland for Christmas holiday and for the recent Easter Holiday, I visited Greece with my housemates! Those trips were awesome. I simply can’t wait for another holiday to come! LOL!~

After Easter break, my life has been extremely hectic and will be the most eventful one. I’ve been going to school for my placement. Next week will be my 5th and last week at South Trelawny Primary School. I’m glad to be placed among the warm family of the school. I’ve never seen teachers, staffs, parents and students of a school being in close relation as of a family. I’m really thankful for the warm welcome they gave and I truly feel that I have become a new family member of the school. Many meaningful experiences have placed their marks in the book of my life as I go through my placement there. Teaching British children for the first time, organising a Malaysian Day for the school and to be able to participate in the school’s Sports Day next week. I will miss the school and the family I have made there very, very dearly after my last day there next week.

Theatre practice has also been intensive after the Easter break. We’re staging Puteri Gunung Ledang The Musical for Malaysian Fest that we’re organising on the 27th of May. After doing my part in the scriptwriting team, I’ve also taken the opportunity to be involved in the acting team. Although my part was rather small, it is enough for me to challenge myself to try something new. I’m also in the Games team and will be promoting Malaysian traditional games during the festival. Less than 2 weeks to the big day, we are now busy doing fund-raising activities, promotion and selling tickets for the theatre. My housemates and I sold rice and various curry for the promotion and fund-raising event and we’re glad as everything were sold out!!! We’re selling again next week as there were many requests! Show me the money peeps!! LOL!~

Despite all the fun things that happens, I still have two assignments to be handed in soon!~ Hrmmph~ To add to that, we’ve also started doing our dissertations!! (The Big D!!!). So there goes my time doing research, going through books, journals and thesis. As I mentioned earlier, HECTIC LIFE!!!

These are the things that have been happening throughout my silent period. I’ll try to post on each of the events with more details after this……..and to my mum, uncle, aunts, grandma (WOW! It runs in the family!), friends, teachers and lecturers (and to myself as well~ hee~)….I would like to wish….

HAPPY TEACHER’S DAY!!!!!
