Rainbow Coloured Lollipop
There is a lollipop at the door
Its shades so vibrant
Its shine so grandiose
Its taste no one knows
There is a lollipop at the door
You pick it up, and take it in
You stare at it in wonder
So deliciously delicate
So delicately delicious
Your fingers leave its wrapper
You leave the lollipop untouched
You put it back at the door
Faint scent of cooking chocolate lingers
Where you touched it
Where you found it
There is a lollipop at the door
It longs to be held
It wishes to be noticed
By you. By you. By you.
This rainbow coloured lollipop
It doesn't taste fruity
It's sweet and bitter
It calms and energises
It tastes like chocolate
It tastes like the chocolate
you just had.
