Manchester - En Route (Part 2 - 'Unforgettable' Train Ride)

We arrived at Manchester Piccadilly Station at around 4pm. From there we have to take another train (more like komuter in Malaysia) to Chorley. That’s where Kak Ina’s house is. We spent almost all day in trains actually..LOL~ When we arrived in Manchester Piccadilly, it was at peak hour and the station was full of people who just came back from work. Luckily, we had made reservations online, so we didn’t have to fight for seats on the train.

Manchester Piccadily Station~
3.58pm - That's when we arrived..

After boarding the train, we looked for our seats and to our surprise…… they were occupied!!! Syaz told those people that those seats actually belong to ours and she even showed them our tickets but those people just won’t budge from the seats. Apparently, it was a lady with her couple and her aunt & uncle.

She said that she will move from that seat but her aunt is an elderly so she should sit. We would have given that seat to her old aunt and uncle..Fine! They’re old people.. but why wouldn’t the lady and her couple who are definitely young and healthy move from those seats?! And then suddenly her aunt questioned us about our reservations because it seemed that there were no reservation cards on that seats! Aaarrgghhh~ We were so nice at the beginning wanting to give those two seats to the old people but after she said that, we were just boiling mad! Especially when we were so damn tired after the 2 train rides before. For goodness sake, we had our tickets which stated reservations for 4 seats in Coach B, seats number 58-61 which were the exact same f***** place that they were seating!!! Buta huruf ke ape?! Tak reti bace ke?

They thought that we were some kind of foreigners that they can made fool of??!! Hellllooooo!~ We’re not stupid, okay! We thought of continuing to argue but everybody else was looking, and we didn’t wanna start some sort of a commotion, so we finally gave in. We actually had to stand for that ½ hour journey and thanks to those 4 arrogant, inconsiderate and shameless people, I actually had to stand near the back door which was next to the toilet! Kalo wangi takpe jugak. The smell was horrible. Busuk giler beb! Luckily there were some hot guys coming through those doors, so bolehla cuci mata sket.. hehe (errr…..) LOL!!

And those 4 people, they were seating comfortably on those seats as if nothing had happened, even though Syaz and Zu Lee were standing right beside them. They were having this ‘intellectual’ kinda conversation, talking about some sort of research and article reports..yada yada yada… and the funny thing was, those 'kononnya' intellectual people were talking in sentences that were grammatically incorrect! Wrong sentence structures, wrong vocabularies, wrong usage of tenses… Berlagak konon! Grammar pon berterabur! Tak malu punye mat saleh! Kalo amek SPM, sah gagal!

After ½ hour of that hell train ride, we finally reached Chorley. We waited for Kak Ina to fetch us and when she arrived with Arissa, her daughter, we gave her the full updates of our journey there. Pity Kak Ina coz she had to listen to our stories. LOL!! Before we reached her home, Kak Ina stopped at TESCO to buy some food for our buka puasa meal~
